Field Service Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Extensive Travel: Travel throughout specified service regions with frequent overnight stays in company vehicle
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, repair, and maintain gym and bleacher equipment to meet safety standards
- Customer Engagement: Consult with clients to assess and troubleshoot equipment issues on-site
- Safety Focus: Work at 20-50 feet elevations using ladders, lifts, and fall protection gear
- Documentation: Document work performed, materials used, and customer interactions
- Physical Work: Perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing, bending, and crawling
Qualifications
- Open to Travel: Willing to travel full time Monday-Friday including overnight and some air travel
- Hands-On Skills: Experience in carpentry, welding, electrical, or mechanical work preferred
- Strong Communicator: Strong documentation and professional client communication skills
- Safety-Minded: Safety-minded with ability to work at heights and follow all protocols
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 75 lbs periodically and 50 lbs regularly
- Walk, crawl, run, climb, kneel, and work in tight areas
- Climb ladders and operate scissor lifts regularly

Field Equipment Inspector
Key Responsibilities
- Extensive Travel: Travel throughout specified service regions with frequent overnight stays. All driving time is compensated and done in a company-provided fleet vehicle.
- Equipment Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of bleachers, basketball backboards, and other gymnasium equipment, both indoor and outdoor, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Documentation and Reporting: Build comprehensive reports and repair lists, including suggestions and safety upgrades, and document inspection findings accurately.
- On-Site Communication: Represent FaciliServ professionally while interacting with clients.
- Safety Focus: Work at heights of 20-50 feet, following all safety protocols and utilizing company-provided tools and equipment.
- Vehicle Responsibility: Maintain and operate company vehicles safely.
Qualifications
- Open to Travel: Ready and willing to travel full time, primarily Monday–Friday, including overnight, with some air travel as needed. Available for overtime hours, as needed, during high-volume business periods.
- Inspection Experience: Previous inspection experience is a plus but not required; thorough training is provided.
- Systems: Ability to use company programs for documentation, requests, training, inspection systems, etc. Basic math skills, ability to take detailed photos and measurements required.
- Strong Communicator: Document your work in detail and communicate professionally with clients. Use company systems to maintain inspection information, pictures, and recommended work. Attend ongoing training meetings and complete online training programs as designated.
- Safety-Minded: Work safely at any height and follow all safety procedures, adhering to any requirements for working in school environments. Follow PPE, OSHA, and Company safety protocols. Due to working in school environments, candidates are subject to criminal background checks to meet certain requirements. Able to pass DOT physical and meet other physical responsibilities of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
